5 DAYS 4 NIGHTS SAFARI ITINERARY, via Rusinga Island
DAY 1: NAIROBI – KAKAMEGA FOREST
Pick up from Airport/ hotel within Nairobi and be driven to Wilson Airport for your flight to Kisumu departing at 10a.m. Depart from Kisumu Airport with a safari passing through Kisumu city. Arrival in Kakamega FOREST at lunch time. Check-in at hotel and enjoy lunch with an afternoon left for you to relax or take the many activities available at the hotel.

DAY 2: FULL DAY AT KAKAMEGA FOREST
After Breakfast, have a nature walk through the forest to river Yala and to Isiukhu falls to enjoy fall with a calm breeze and tremendous views of butterflies, Birds, monkeys. Experience watching wildlife in their habitat including pimates, old massive trees, flying squirrels tree pangolines and many other animals. After Lunch, proceed to Isiukhu river to see the water falls and primates, bush back, blue duiker, red duiker, Rothschild’s Giraffe, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Roan Antelope, buffalo, leopards, serval cat and hyena.

Day 3: KAKAMEGA FOREST – LAKE VICTORIA
Breakfast and the drive to Rusinga Island, with en route activities including; The Mysterious Crying Stone Adventures. Arrival in Rusinga Island at lunch time. Check-in at hotel and enjoy lunch with an afternoon left for you to relax or take the many activities available at the hotel.
• Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 4: FULL DAY RUSINGA ISLAND & LAKE VICTORIA DISCOVERY
Enjoy retreat in one of Africa’s most remote and historical corners. Choose any of the included activities; Lake Victoria Boat Trips, Lake Victoria Fishing discoveries, Mountain Biking, Sun-downers, Guided Bird Walks, Visit to Fishing Village & Archaeological Site etc.
• Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 5: RUSINGA – KISUMU CITY- NAIROBI
After breakfast check out and depart to Kisumu town for 2 hours city tour, activities include; Kit Mikayi Formation, Kisumu Museum etc. 3p.m have an air transfer to Wilson Airport Nairobi. Drop off at Airport/ hotel within Nairobi.
